Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician III works as a lead HVAC Technician assisting other technicians on how to perform critical repairs and are responsible for the facility's HVAC throughout the manufacturing facility with regard to all controls and some electrical projects. This position supports all Maintenance tasks related to preventive maintenance, updating, repairing, optimizing and installing existing and new equipment. This position also supports maintenance projects initiated by Maintenance work orders, Maintenance Management or Project Engineering personnel.

1. Troubleshoot problems, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and boiler steam systems.
2. Provide low voltage (<480V) electrical assistance, as required, and provide support for facility renovations, equipment installations, maintenance work orders, etc.
3. Read and understand construction and machine blue prints, to include machine drawings, building construction floor plans, P&ID diagrams, electrical drawings, schematics for pneumatic, gas supply, vacuum and high pressure piping systems.
4. Understand AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and measuring techniques.
5. Understand the proper use of engineering and maintenance documentation required under cGMPs. Examples include the Maintenance Work Order System, the Critical Change Request System, SOP documentation, Validation documentation, etc.

Qualifications:

• High school + technical certification required
• Prefer HVAC and Steam Systems experience. Also prefer refrigeration license, gas mechanics license and a boiler license
• Minimum 5 years related experience required
• FDA Regulated Industry Experience preferred
• Lead experience desired
• The incumbent must possess the knowledge typically attained through successful completion of a technical program working with refrigeration systems and boiler, steam and hot water heating systems in a technical discipline or a technical certification with 2 to 4 years of practical experience. This includes the ability to write detailed reports to document work completed.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds unassisted, Pushing and pulling required
• Exposure to allergens required
• Ability to work in confined spaces required

Shift: Weekday Days, Monday- Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

• Hiring Wage: $ $30.93 - $ $41.85 hr. depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role
