Description

Starting Salary Range: $131,000.00 - $141,000.00 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.

As our Lead Operations Planning, you will help engineers apply MISO strategy (through people, process, and technology) to be more effective in outage processing.

As the Lead Operations Planning, you will lead a team that enjoys fulfilling all aspects of the job with equal enthusiasm that requires significant interaction and relationship with our customers and a balance of autonomy and collaboration within MISO.

Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders on process changes to allow execution of new technology. You will lead the team to engage and change behaviors that better pre-position the team for the future management of the lifecycle of an outage.

In one year as our Lead, Operations Planning, you will know you were successful if:



  • you obtain a firm grasp of supported Operations Planning business areas including processes, pain points and expected outcomes
  • you participate/lead Operations planning improvement and investment strategy development
  • you develop strong relationships with team members and build individual plans to grow necessary competency and capabilities to meet their career goals


We are looking for talented professionals who have:



  • a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  • Seven or more years of relevant work experience in a related field
  • demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively influence cross-functionally and at various levels within the organization


Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
