Assistant Director of Development

SALARY RANGE: $58,000 - $66,000 per year

JOB PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of your position is to plan, coordinate and implement philanthropy programs for the benefit of St. Ann's Community.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Annual Giving

• Lead and manage annual donor solicitation programs.
• Develop and execute donor communications, including print, digital, and social media content.
• Analyze giving trends and strategize to increase donor participation and retention.

Stewardship & Digital Marketing

• Collaborate with colleagues to produce annual donor report and maintain donor recognition lists.
• Coordinate stewardship outreach and ensure donor stewardship plans are up-to-date and effectively implemented.
• Support digital marketing efforts to enhance donor engagement and visibility.

Employee Recognition

• Partner with internal teams to manage donor-funded employee recognition programs.
• Oversee the execution of initiatives such as the Employee Scholarship Program and the Star Recognition Award Program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in development/fundraising environment, non-profit, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Strong writing, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and donor database systems preferred. Experience and proficiency with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge is a plus.
