Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Associate EHS Manager! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Three maverick farmers started it all - and we've been making our own way ever since. The Associate EHS Manager will be responsible for ensuring EHS compliance for the plant environment. They will lead the development and implementation of EHS management systems and ensure program effectiveness over time. They will also conduct EHS audits to ensure compliance and identify hazards, prepare recommendations and reports, and develop training programs. Additionally, they will manage EHS policies, adapting and maintaining programs to prepare for current and future EHS standards.

A Day in the Life...

* Provide leadership in the development and implementation of management systems necessary to ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements affecting the assigned facility/facilities and to evaluate and ensure their effectiveness over time.
* Responsible for providing leadership in corporate-wide projects and initiatives intended to advance and support the environmental, health and safety policy and priorities of the entire Operations Department, encompassing other Ocean Spray locations.
* Assignments may include tasks of a long-term, ongoing nature as well as those of relatively short duration.
* Supports and promotes food safety and quality program initiatives within the plant environment.
* Implement, oversee, and adapt policies and programs to improve the organization's environmental and safety performance, ensure it complies with current and future regulations and standards, and protect its reputation.
* Monitor EHS performance, identify risks or areas for improvement; conduct safety audits and on-site inspections to identify workplace hazards; investigate environmental incidents; prepare reports and recommendations; implement waste management programs; develop and deliver EHS training programs; manage relationships with community or environmental stakeholders. Research, evaluate, and recommend changes to improve EHS performance.

Education:

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
