Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist - Website plays a key role in supporting the execution of our website strategy, managing content and overseeing day-to-day updates to enhance user experience and optimize user journeys. SoundOff Signal has multiple websites and experiences, this role will lead the ongoing optimization and growth of our websites and portals, ensuring they serve as a key channel to drive revenue for our global customer base. Reporting to the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, who leads the overall website strategy, the Digital Marketing Specialist ensures the seamless creation and management of website content, while continuously improving site functionality, user experience and performance. You will have a passion for UI/UX experience and oversee various website projects while delivering valuable insights through regular KPI reporting, enabling informed, data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with marketing strategies (B2B a plus) and tools, including Salesforce, CRM, CMS, product databases, analytics platforms, SEO, SEM, and asset management systems, using these technologies to enhance website performance and drive broader marketing initiatives.

Content Management and Troubleshooting: Regularly updates and maintains website content through the CMS, monitors content on the live site, develops a process to refresh stale content and effectively troubleshoots or escalates issues to ensure smooth functionality.

Page Creation and Optimization: Oversees the creation and optimization of web and portal pages for new product launches, collaborating with product marketing and brand teams to ensure graphics, copy, and overall presentation are up-to-date and aligned with the brand's messaging and visual identity.

Design / Development Enhancements: Works closely with cross functional team and vendors to enhance websites and global infrastructure, creates business requirements, generates mockups of wireframes, web page designs and workflows, ensuring continual improvements to content, design and the overall user experience. Ensure all customer front facing experiences deliver a unified experience.

Customer Experience Mapping: Supports internal efforts for UI/UX mapping and design, ensuring website features and functionalities meet user needs and increase satisfaction.

Project Management: Lead and manage website projects, coordinating efforts between internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution and timely delivery.

Metrics and Reporting: Evaluates website performance by tracking key metrics and providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize user experience and drive business growth.

Campaign Execution: Work closely with market managers to recommend and execute digital campaigns to drive increased revenue.

Quality Assurance and Audits: Develop and follow processes for quality testing and website audits.

SEO Strategy: Manages SEO tactics to enhance the websites' online visibility and search engine ranking.

Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze competitor websites to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in our own digital strategy.

Budget Support: Assists with budget management and allocation for website-related initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Other Duties: Performs additional tasks as assigned to support website operations and overall digital marketing strategy.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, web design, development or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

5-7 years of website management, preferred B2B within a global or multi-market context

Experience with customer/dealer portals preferred

Experience with Salesforce CRM, B2B Commerce

Experience in a variety of CMS platforms: Salesforce Experience Cloud, WordPress, Craft and front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices with keen eye for aligning visuals and brand principles

Advanced analytical skills to assess data, evaluate website performance, and recommend data-driven enhancements (GA4, GTM, GSC, Salesforce)

Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

Proven experience of database driven websites

Excellent organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across teams, departments and vendor partners

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website performance, hosting, and integrations

Demonstrated experience using multiple environments for developing/staging/testing and keen understanding of release processes

Experience with Adobe Creative, Microsoft Office

Knowledgeable on principles and techniques of marketing strategies

Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence

Understanding of data privacy laws and marketing compliance best practices

Able to perform the job consistently without excessive absenteeism or tardiness

Mostly office environment, occasional light manufacturing environment - hybrid or remote work is possible

Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
