Job Family Legal Discipline Export & Compliance Career Level P4 Salary Range $87,000 - $126,000 Note for Salary This is the range within which SRNS expects the majority of qualified candidates would enter this role if offered. Actual offers may be more or less than the amounts shown depending on candidate's qualifications, experience, internal equity, and other factors. Job Family Description Legal roles provide legal advice and services on issues concerning the rights, obligations, and privileges of the organization. They examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Discipline Description Ethics personnel develop, implement, and promote awareness of the organization's business ethics policies. They monitor the organization's standards of conduct and ethical relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees, and the communities in which business is conducted, investigate allegations of unethical activity, and develops safeguards to eliminate future breaches of the organization's ethics policies. Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include: Plan, organize, and conduct difficult and complex investigations to ensure compliance with government safety and health laws, standards and regulations Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least ten years of experience (YOE), OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least eight years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE) We'd Also Like to See Thorough knowledge and understanding of 29 CFR 1910, 29 CFR 1926, 10 CFR 851, SRNS Site Manuals 8Q and 18Q Career Band Professional Career Band Description * Roles in this band apply the knowledge in area of expertise to analyze information; design and develop new approaches, methodologies and processes; and, provide professional advice and guidance to others in accordance with professional quality standards Career Level Description Requires specialized expertise in field/discipline acquired through significant years of experience, leading others to solve complex problems, working independently with guidance in only the most complex situations; may lead functional teams or projects. Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
