Main Duties & Responsibilities
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of outgoing shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments, carriers, and customer service.

  • Coordinate, schedule, and monitor daily outgoing shipments to meet customer and company timelines
  • Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, and customs paperwork (if applicable)
  • Communicate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.) to arrange pickups, resolve issues, and track deliveries
  • Communicate effectively with leaders across all organizational levels
  • Verify and inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, packaging quality, and order completeness
  • Maintain accurate shipping records in inventory or ERP systems
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Warehouse, Production, and Quality departments to resolve shipping discrepancies, address delivery concerns, and manage return processes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies
  • Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and request replenishment as needed
  • Support warehouse functions such as receiving and order fulfillment when necessary
  • Participate in periodic audits and assist with continuous process improvements
  • Assist with customer service tasks as needed
  • Crosstrain in all warehouse functions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination
  • Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
  • Experience using ERP systems a plus
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

Compensation

This section is required for all remote roles and any on-site/hybrid roles located in CA, CO, or IL. Please remove if the role does not fulfil these requirements.

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00.

Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our recruiting team during the interview process.
