Remote Position Summary The Service Manager LTSA drives the growth and performance of Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) in North America by defining strategic and operational measures, developing market-driven concepts, and enabling the sales organization to successfully offer and sell LTSA solutions. Acting as both business developer, sales manager and strategic coordinator, the role ensures alignment between market needs, customer expectations, and Voith's service capabilities to maximize customer satisfaction, market share, and profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive LTSA growth strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals, including clear objectives, measurable KPIs, and a defined execution roadmap.
- Lead negotiations and close strategic LTSA deals, ensuring competitive positioning and value delivery for customers.
- Support the regional sales team in pipeline generation, proposal development, and opportunity closure for LTSA projects.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships that enhance LTSA offerings, expand market reach, and strengthen competitive advantage.
- Steer and coordinate cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Service Execution, Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain) to ensure strategic measures are executed effectively.
- Ensure regional LTSA financial and performance targets are met, including order intake, revenue, and profitability goals.
- Position LTSA solutions competitively in the market, differentiating Voith's value proposition and proactively identify evolving needs to adapt and improve LTSA offerings..
- Provide regular reports and strategic insights to senior management, recommending actions for continuous improvement and ensure business governance and adherence to defined processes
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in business development, service sales, or strategic account management within the energy (preferably hydro) or industrial sector. Alternatively, you have experience in O&M / Asset Management of hydro power plants in a leading position.
- Strong knowledge of service contract models, particularly LTSAs, and the hydropower or related industries.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex projects.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office Suite.
- Travel required 40%
