Our Project Integration department is seeking an experienced and dynamic Long Range Planning & Earned Value Management (EVM) Activity Manager to lead our lifecycle planning efforts and support EVM compliance. This role is critical in helping CPCCo and DOE-HFO develop and maintain a robust cost and schedule baseline, which will be instrumental in establishing future task orders and ensuring compliance with regulatory milestones. This Activity Manager will also support EVM compliance within Project Integration. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach to planning and execution.
The Activity Manager will perform the following:
* Develop and maintain long-range planning strategies to support lifecycle planning efforts. * Collaborate with CPCCo and DOE-HFO teams to maintain a lifecycle cost and schedule baseline. * Facilitate cross-functional team discussions to align planning efforts with organizational goals. * Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. * Support the establishment of future task orders by providing accurate and timely planning insights. * Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure long range planning efforts comply with regulatory milestones. * Oversee and manage EVM compliance across multiple projects. * Develop and implement EVM processes and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards. * Monitor project performance metrics and analyze variances to identify areas for improvement. * Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status. * Provide training and guidance to project staff on EVM principles and best practices. * Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. * Support audits and reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with EVM requirements. * Lead diverse teams while maintaining strong communication and analytical problem solving. * Lifecycle planning and management.
Basic Qualifications
* Senior Grade 21: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 or more years of relevant experience.
* Principal Grade 22: Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 12 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in the following is preferred: Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in project controls, project management or earned value management, preferably in a government or environmental management setting is preferred. * Experience implementing EIA-748 Earned Value Management and project controls practices. * Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Excel (lookup and pivot table experience) * Experience managing or supporting Contract Performance Baseline establishment and maintenance * Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives and meet emerging needs * Advanced level understanding of Cobra, Primavera P6, Acumen, and Earned Value Management * Certification in Earned Value Management and/or Project Management * Experience with PowerBI. * Proficiency in project controls software and tools.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
* Senior Level Grade 21: $123,500 - $197,650.
* Principal Level Grade 22: $134,200 - $234,850.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
