Midwest Veterinary Supply's Marketing department is seeking a Graphic Designer for our Lakeville, MN Corporate office. This role is remote, but candidates need to have the ability to visit the Lakeville, MN Corporate office on occasion for meetings and events. Job Summary: Create on-trend, user-friendly collateral in a timely, professional, and industry-relevant design for print, video, web and interactive media for both internal and external customers of Midwest Veterinary Supply.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create, develop and design visual materials in print, digital and video mediums. Assignments will include, but are not limited to, print catalogs, digital collateral, branding manufacturer marketing materials, social media collateral, newsletters, e-mail, website assets, video development, promotional flyers, presentation support, and event materials that are aligned within Midwest brand aesthetic.
- Support Clinic Marketing project requests to include, but not limited to, logo design and branding development, social media content, flyers, posters, brochures, and signage.
- Support Midwest internal departments with forms development, internal flyers and promotional materials for events.
- Optimize digital assets for use on Midwest platforms.
- Photograph products for projects.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in graphic design or related field required.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in graphic design and/or marketing setting required.
- Experience with InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite of Software required.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and problem-solve.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently
- Familiarity with both PC and Mac platforms
- Knowledge of design for print, PDF generation & settings, separations and computer to plate printing.
- Artistic ability to create user friendly, professional and informative documents.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.

- Daily deadlines may result in a fast pace of work and stress.
- Continuous use of hands for writing and use of computer keyboard, working with a relevant volume of data to include alpha and numeric detail.
- Continuous use of a computer monitor requiring close vision.
- Ability to use a telephone - listening and speaking.
- Ability to work at a desk throughout the day.
- The ability to occasionally sort boxes of printed material weighing up to 35 pounds.
