Position Summary
We're seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, swallowing disorders (dysphagia), cognitive-communication impairments, and voice disorders. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to create treatment plans that help patients achieve their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized speech therapy interventions in acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient settings.

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and progress.

  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to hospital standards.

  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance in all therapy services.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; teaching hospital experience preferred.

  • Georgia SLP license and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
