Job Description:
- Works under general supervision and is responsible for work output. On a production basis, performs electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work. Semi-repetitive to repetitive-type work. May make simple decisions but must generally follow well established precedents.
Role & Responsibilities:
- An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Good understanding of ESD controls, resistance welding, working under microscopes, soldering, epoxy mixing, bonding, assembly and packaging techniques, as well as handling of classified assemblies.
- Working under the microscopes for long periods of time.
- Handling of small parts and piezoelectric crystals.
- Intermediate cable harness and PCB assembly techniques.
- Intermediate mechanical assembly of small parts.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions.
- High voltage potting and high voltage testing.
Required Skills:
- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required for the position.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three (3) or more years of related electronics assembly experience. J-STD-001 Certification preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Basic computer skills will be needed to log into work orders, access time cards, and log workorders for special process.
- Must be able to operate winding/braiding machinery, torque wrenches, digital multi-meters, up to 12kv Hypot, solder irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, common hand tools and the use of a microscope
