Responsibilities may include: Collaborate with teams providing design and materials to the shop to schedule a flow of work that maximizes our production resources. Coordinate with production team to ensure availability of resources, such as materials, equipment, and personnel, to meet production schedules. Develop production schedule (task cards) that ensure on-time delivery of products while maximizing shop efficiency and minimizing inventory levels. Communicate and collaborate with upstream Operations and Planning Teams on scheduled work and backlog status. Collaborate with shop leaders to address delays in schedule deadlines or other issues that may impact schedule due dates. Participate in the development and implementation of new production planning and scheduling processes, tools, and systems. Analyze production data and provide regular reports to management on production performance, including identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production schedules, inventory levels, and other relevant data in our production management system. Applicants ideally have the following: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus Proficiency in MS Office Suite along with production management software or ERP/MRP experience and Business Central Location and Travel This is a permanent/full-time position with Interstates and requires some travel (approximately 10% - 20%) Benefits You Can Depend On In addition to highly competitive pay and quality benefits, Interstates strives to offer opportunities foreducation and career development, empowering you to have a career that's built to last.
