Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Plattsburgh, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Perform production tasks in the factory on dedicated workstations
• Pilot, clean, maintain, assemble, and test robots
• Assemble and inspect finished product to ensure defined quality level on time
• Execute assembly and welding of parts made of stainless steel on plates from 1,5mm to 6mm thickness in all welding positions, performing the welding process: MIG / MAG, regulating and preparing the welding equipment according to internal instructions (voltage, amperage, welding speed, oscillation, flow of shielding gas, and so on).
• Use tools, equipment, and instruments such as measuring tape, scale, square, and gauges to check visual weld.
• Conduct assembly before welding, positioning the parts, and performing tack welds to place them at the correct location, verifying the quality, specifications, and measurements of the drawing.
• Monitor the activities of other welding technicians, convey instructions, technical norms, drawings, technical guidance, and organize/clean the equipment/workstations to help them fulfill their activities within the established deadlines and comply with quality norms.
• Use the APSYS tools (5s / Autonomous Team / SMED / TPM / Self Inspection / Shop Floor Meeting).
• Execute welding activities according to the needs of the area and with specific qualifications.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $24.50 / hr. (shift differential $0.75)

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Temp to perm (6 months).
