POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Foreman, CBA reports to the Installation Manager
  • Located in Rogers, MN
  • Full-Time
  • In Office



The Foreman, Carpenter's Building Association (CBA), will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects, leading a team of apprentices and carpenters. This position requires a candidate with expertise in carpentry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Leadership:



  • Lead and supervise a team of apprentices and carpenters within the Carpenter's Building Association (CBA) program.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and hands-on training to team members.


Project Management:



  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and timelines.


Carpentry Expertise:



  • Utilize advanced carpentry skills to contribute to the construction process.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving on carpentry-related tasks.


Quality Control:



  • Ensure the quality and craftsmanship of work performed by the team.
  • Conduct regular inspections to guarantee compliance with construction standards.


Safety Compliance:



  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety training for team members and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.


Communication:



  • Effectively communicate project goals, plans, and expectations to the team.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders as needed.


Material Management:



  • Coordinate the delivery and use of construction materials on-site.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of resources and minimize waste.


Problem Resolution:



  • Address and resolve issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Implement solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.


Documentation:



  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any changes to project plans.
  • Document progress and challenges for reporting purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in carpentry is a plus, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry, with a focus on construction projects.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or foreman role.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and construction standards.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.


In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
