Position Summary:

We are seeking a confident, capable, and compassionateSpa Supervisorto help lead our dynamic wellness team atCambium Spa. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and excels at balancing daily operations, team support, and exceptional service delivery.

As Spa Supervisor, you will serve as the right hand to the Spa Manager-stepping in to supervise the spa, especially the front desk, during the manager's absence and supporting them with administrative duties. Additionally you will collaborate with the Spa Manager to create opportunities for wellness classes and develop new services for guests.

You'll play a key role in maintaining service flow, boosting team morale, and ensuring both staff and guests feel supported, valued, and well cared for-especially during peak apres-ski hours.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day operations of the spa, stepping in to lead shifts, delegate responsibilities, and assist with scheduling adjustments.
  • Serve as point-of-contact for staff during your shift-resolving guest concerns, room turnovers, or scheduling conflicts in the moment.
  • Act as a liaison between reception, therapists, attendants, and management to keep treatment flow smooth and efficient.
  • Uphold brand and service standards throughout all spa areas-including locker rooms, relaxation lounges, and treatment rooms.
  • Coach team members in real time with kindness and professionalism; assist in onboarding and training new hires as needed.
  • Monitor guest feedback and team performance to identify service improvement opportunities.
  • Take initiative to solve problems before they escalate and communicate effectively with the Spa Manager for long-term solutions.
  • Participate in spa inventory, retail merchandising, opening/closing procedures, and quality control.
  • Maintain a calm, organized, and supportive presence-especially during busy weekends, holidays, or weather-driven rushes.
  • Collaborate with manager to create opportunities for classes and services for guests.

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Strong understanding of spa operations and guest service expectations
  • Hours and days can be dynamic. Though we try to keep our schedules as consistent as possible, some of our times during the lighter seasons will vary. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and peak holiday periods.

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications - CPR AED First Aid

Technical - Basic computer, smart phone and applications understanding helpful but not necessary. Experience in previous Point Of Sales preferred.

Physical Capabilities - On feet for up to 8 hours a day. Bending over, lifting up top 25lbs, walking stairs, navigating from parking to spa during all weather and seasons.

Additional - Excellent interpersonal, delegation, and multitasking skills. Calm under pressure, with a natural ability to de-escalate and re-focus energy

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required - High School Diploma/GED

Minimum time in related position - 2+ years of experience in a spa, hospitality, or wellness environment, 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred (formal or informal leadership)
