Work Shift:

8hr-1st Shift 7a-3:30p Sparta (United States of America) The Production Scheduler is responsible for managing procedures and controls for quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of movement and storage of goods, while ensuring customer delivery and quality expectations are met.

Essential Function - Roles/Responsibilities

Ensure that the Schedule Adherence for the production team is properly monitored.

Ensure production schedules are maintained to provide for a 100% sales order fill on a daily basis.

Create work orders for production to run throughout the plant.

Monitor machine utilization within the facility.

Assist the Procurement Agent in maintaining the raw materials needed.

Plan and coordinate schedule line change-over and production runs according to customer demand.

Maintain effective communication with the Mold Shop and Maintenance regarding down time of machines.

Perform functions related to production scheduling, procurement, customer service and/or shipping of products.

Communicate the status of back orders to each production department individually.

Coordinate production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with principles, policies, and procedures established by the company and all regulatory agencies.

Ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible; Enter product shipment information into JDE database. Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications:

Required:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
High level of knowledge of machinery and production systems.
Preferred:
AS degree is preferred.
Blow or Injection Mold experience is a plus.
A drive to strive for continuous improvement.
Computer skills - Strong in Excel

Level of knowledge of basic scheduling concepts.
