Division of Food, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences Job Description
Provide full administrative support for the Division Director. Serve as central point of contact between faculty, staff and students, other departments, and/or external constituencies on day-to-day programmatic, operational and administrative matters. Prioritize and manage multiple projects/processes simultaneously, collaborating with the Division Director, Assistant Division Director, Dean's office, faculty, and Business Manager on key decisions and overseeing documentation and deadlines. Faculty Evaluations Promotion & Tenure Division events Faculty Meetings. Scheduling, agenda preparation, and taking meeting minutes. Faculty and Staff Recruitment. Organize candidate visits for FNES faculty positions including travel, schedule preparation, event scheduling and on-site logistical support. Similar responsibilities may be needed for some staff positions. Vehicle Fleet Management. Oversee the divisional vehicle, signing it in/out for usage, arranging for maintenance, etc Maintain/keep the record and communication with the faculty, student and staff email lists Manage the FNES conference rooms and classrooms including scheduling, providing access/unlocking, coordinating after-hours access and providing AV assistance and training as needed Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, In-person Occasionally division and college projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be especially well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of supporting an administrative team of diverse people and programs. The ability to interact with people (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87 -$26.87 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
