What Rockwell Needs from You

We have an immediate hiring need for our full-time manufacturing Material Handler 3. This is a 1st Shift role (M-F, 6a-230p) with a starting rate of $17.83 per hour. You will report to the warehouse manager.

Job Summary:

Perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Review documentation and uses SAP/external systems to assess material and finished goods to support production and shipping processes. Provide documentation support, materials administration and process support. Use judgment to propose solutions and troubleshoot material flow or documentation issues. Set-up and operate Powered Industrial Vehicles to load materials/finished product. Use proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures. Perform housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Respond quickly and constructively to changing priorities. Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 10-20 hours of standard hours of overtime/week. Actual overtime hours may vary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 2 year of verified related experience
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Typically requires 2 years of related experience
