Mechanical Planner

Opportunity Overview: Mechanical Planner - Palisades Nuclear Power Plant, Covert, MI - 6 Month+ Contract Role

Are you interested in being part of an innovative team that supports Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions?WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse has a great opportunity for experienced Mechanical Planners to support work with Westinghouse at Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. This is a Minimum 6-month contract with likelihood to extend longer.

What your day-to-day looks like:

• Take Approved Design/Engineering Change Package and develop Work Order and write work steps for field implementation
• Field Engineering support to walk down the modification for constructability
• Develop BOM (Bill of Material) for ordering parts and issuance to the project

What we need to see from you:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or nuclearengineeringpreferred but not required
• In lieu of engineering degree, experience in nuclear projects will be considered
• Additional education in Mechanical/Civil Engineering preferred
• Current Qualifications for Planning APS
• Experienced Mechanical / Civil Planner in the Nuclear Industry with history of Weld Map creation
• 6-8 + years of experience in the nuclear field
