A Brief Overview

The Financial Planning and Analytics department is seeking a detail-oriented

analytical professional to support our labor reporting and benchmarking initiatives. This role will play a key part in the monthly labor reporting process during financial close, as well as support ongoing productivity and efficiency efforts across the organization.

Key responsibilities include working with the Strata productivity reporting module, contributing to labor efficiency analysis, and providing data support for both the Efficiency Committee and Requisition Review Committee. The position will also be involved in ongoing benchmarking projects, including the use of Prospect benchmarking data to identify trends and drive informed decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong data analysis skills and a passion for continuous improvement in healthcare operations.

The role is fully remote, Monday-Friday.

What you will do

  • Involved in the following: data analytics, financial decision support, business statistics, benchmarking, budgeting, long term strategic planning, predicative modeling, productivity, dashboard/financial reporting, financial analysis/trending, metric development, data/system quality and ad hoc analysis/projects.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.

  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.

  • Supervise projects and analysts including leading major projects and analyst training

  • Subject matter expertise.

  • Maintain databases/data systems

Required Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years related Financial Analytics & Planning experience - Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Computer Skills/Systems: EPIC, Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel and Access), , Qlikview, Business Objects, Strata Jazz, Visual Basic Programming, Databases, Complex Query Language, SQL, and SMS related systems.
  • Familiarity with large complex data sets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to learn quickly.
  • A working knowledge of healthcare finance and accounting.
  • This person should have knowledge of complex statistical analysis and strong problem solving skills.
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex finances and statistics to many different audiences.

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
