Global Director of Talent Development and Acquisition

Momentive Technologies Global Director of Talent Development and Acquisition is responsible for all facets of workforce planning, full-cycle recruitment, performance management, and learning and development. This position will provide mentorship/Leadership to the Global stakeholders to ensure cohesion and execution of talent development philosophy that invests in existing talent for career development and strategic workforce planning. Under direction of the CHRO, Vice President of Human Resources, this position will work with Business Unit Leaders and Managers to address existing and anticipated staffing changes, facilitate performance management program, and implement learning and development training.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of talent development programs:
    • Create vision for talent development function to transform company culture around learning and growth.
    • Build relationships and networks with country and regional leaders, engaging them in the design of development initiatives that are relevant to their context and the organization's priorities.
    • Drive the design and deliver talent development vision and strategies. Engage stakeholders in the design, implementation, and evaluation of those initiatives while being mindful of stakeholders. Work with Functional Leaders and HRBPs to develop objective performance measurements across all sites, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all employees.
    • Design targeted development initiatives such as succession planning, emerging leaders' development programs, internal mobility, mentorship, and leadership development programs.
    • Promote staff development and capacity building by creating personalized training experience. Link staff development to the Performance Management program and provide resources to managers and employees.
    • Provide coaching to management and employees on talent and career development issues.
    • Promote compliance and a healthy work environment by rolling out organization-wide or targeted policy and coaching training.
    • Ensure current systems meet organizational and user needs and partner with appropriate vendors to maximize utilization.
  • Actively contributes to the development of talent acquisition strategies:
    • Manage preferred vendors, ensure expected benefits are realized and participate in the negotiation of talent acquisition-related contracts (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, contingent labor, executive staffing firms).
    • Lead design, implement, and serve as system expert for talent acquisition technologies - global applicant tracking system (Workday).
    • Serve as global talent acquisition process leads and represents the interests of Momentive Technologies talent acquisition in global decision-making forums.
    • Oversee talent acquisition global budget and execution of talent acquisition initiatives and projects across the enterprise.
    • Ensure processes and records are documented and maintained in a central repository.
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal business partners, hiring managers, and leaders across multiple functional areas to ensure their needs are properly addressed including coaching hiring managers on best-in-class recruitment, interview and hiring practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Scope of responsibility in past roles includes establishing and driving strategy and change and leading a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for key leadership meetings occasionally throughout the year.
  • Experience in implementing new strategic HR programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and discretion in dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient knowledge of PowerPoint, MS Office Suite, Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree preferred
  • Preferably experience with both US and non-US geographies in a manufacturing environment
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR or PHR certification preferred Experience
  • Previous experience with Workday

Key Relationships:

  • Human Resources team, Functional Leaders, Finance, IT, Operations, Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and R&D.

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 10%

Working Conditions:

On occasion, the Global Director, Talent Development and Acquisition will need to interact with Managers on the plant floor. Proper personal protective equipment must be worn during those times; safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes.

The Global Director, Talent Development and Acquisition will earn a variable compensation including base salary and bonus. Base salary range takes into consideration experience, education, and training. Not to mention all the amazing benefits available for employee selection as well.
