Summary


The Red Bull Sales Manager directly and indirectly oversees the execution of the sales goals in their territory. They provide guidance and supervision to Sales Representatives and District Managers.


Key Responsibilities



  • Set and execute sales objectives; attain corporate and supplier business metrics to include volume, profit, distribution and placement in order to maximize sales and brand performance
  • Analyze available data sources and competitive business trends to drive improved performance within sales team and in the retail trade.
  • Work directly with District Managers to set measurable territory goals to achieve monthly volume, revenue and profit goals
  • Work directly with supplier to improve overall Key Performance Indicators that drive sales team effectiveness and strong business results
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge: Red Bull, beer, non-alcoholic, food journals, trends, market share, etc.
  • Effectively forecast projected sales and product inventory needs
  • Work with senior management develop yearly cost and business plans
  • Track and administer qualifying sales incentives for sales team
  • Cultivate strong relationships with supplier and customers
  • Communicate business results, plans and sales objectives with senior management
  • Review and organize business and sales team structure to ensure sales positions and territories are appropriately staffed to achieve company and supplier objectives
  • Submit all required reporting, preplans, trackers, survey's, MVPs (market surveys), expense report, mileage log, etc
  • Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations
  • Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff
  • Complete all other tasks and projects as assigned by manger

Required Education and Experience



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required; Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Minimum five (5) years previous sales experience
  • Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite


Preferred Education and Experience



  • Previous grocery or retail experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
