Supports project teams to leverage BIM and advanced technology in developing a more efficient and effective delivery processes. Communicates to support a global vision for the application of BIM and design technology at HKS by identifying trends and evolving topics within support and improvement requests. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of practices and procedures to complete assignments with originality and ingenuity. Anticipates job expectations and contributes to project solutions. Responsibilities: 
 Provides support to Office Practice Technology Specialists and BIM Managers as neededAssists Office Practice Technology Specialists and BIM Managers in the development BIMs for projects from Concept through Construction AdministrationProvides support to Office Practice Technology Specialists and BIM Managers to ensure BIM production efforts meet firmwide design and quality standardsEnforces organizational best practices and prerequisite skills to ensure compliance with established firmwide standards for design excellenceInterfaces with and provides technical guidance to Office Practice Technology Specialists and BIM Managers to ensure the efficient and effective application of BIM and design technology on HKS projectsProvides feedback on project-based activities to the Firmwide Practice Technology ResourcesAssists in maintaining and creating firm-wide documentation, procedures and standardsPossesses full knowledge of Practice Technology best practices, firmwide standards and expectations for design excellenceAssists in the creation and development of best practices, firmwide standards and expectations for design excellenceAssists team members in learning processes and growing professionallyLeads and empowers Office Practice Technology Specialists and BIM Managers to proactively flag and solve project issuesEngages with project teams for limited engagements on project specific workUnderstands and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices through involvement with firm leadership, BIM committees, and technology championsCollaborates & assists project teams to allow for adoption of HKS Plugins in RevitWorks closely with Practice Technology Leadership to detect trends and evolving topics within HKS design and delivery process Qualifications: 
 Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferredTypically 3-5+ years of related experience with Autodesk Revit and BIM Management and in an architecture, interior design or construction related fieldExpert knowledge of and proven practical experience in AEC authoring and management applications including Autodesk (Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360 and Forge), Rhino, Sketchup and their API interfacesProficiency in MS Office Suite preferredFamiliarity with design visualization applications including Autodesk 3D Max, Enscape, Lumion, Vray and Unreal Engine preferredFamiliarity with environmental analysis applications such as Sefaira, Insight360, Lady Bug/Honeybee, Fenestra Pro, WUFI, and IES preferredUnderstanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCADUnderstanding of building detailing, construction principles and practicesProven ability to produce quality construction documentsProven ability to deliver business change through the innovative use of data and technology with an entrepreneurial mindsetStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staffStrong work ethic and eagerness to produce high quality, accurate resultsAbility to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writingAbility to proactively problem solve and apply innovative solutionsAbility to work and collaborate in a team environmentAbility to work on multiple projects at the same timeAbility to effectively meet deadlines at expected qualityTravel may be required Base Salary Range: $100k to $125k annually - Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Washington DC, Seattle, San Diego and New York locations only. The estimate displayed represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in the above locations only.
