The WO SPW Deployment Lead serves as a key authority on the Stellantis Production Way (SPW), driving excellence in Workplace Organization (WO) across the entire manufacturing complex. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and expanding best practices, while ensuring alignment with the Plant Manager's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment and standardization of SPW methodologies throughout the complex. Integrate WO initiatives into the Plant Manager's master plan, ensuring alignment with operational goals and performance targets.
- Act as the department's WO Lead, fostering expertise in WO domain methodologies. Facilitate pillar integration events, create standard documentation, and promote cross-functional knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvement.
- Apply cost deployment stratification to identify and prioritize high-impact projects. Collaborate with skilled trades teams to design, fabricate, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and reduce Total Production Cost (TPC) across assembly lines.
- Lead SPW-based training for new employees, ensuring adherence to global WO standards and practices. Promote a culture of operational excellence through structured learning and development.
- Regularly utilize SPW tools and principles
- Ability to Collaborate with industrial engineers, production leads and Union workforce to create efficient manufacturing processes for multiple assembly lines within the complex.
- Lead efforts to improve process capability and reduce variation using SPW's Standard Work and Kaizen (SWK) methodology. Identify losses and implement WO domain strategies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must be able to grasp difficult concepts and intermediate/advance tools
- Must have proven ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Strong administrative skills required
- Must have advanced working knowledge with all Microsoft Office applications, including Access, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Must be a problem-solver with follow-up skills
- Must be goal-oriented and a self-starter and possess the ability to lead and manage in a team-based structure
- Must be able to multi-task
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced or technical degree
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience working with UAW employees
