We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer who will drive the growth initiatives of Southwire in servicing the high volume of residential and commercial customers in North America. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of a variety of complex engineering applications. They will have commercial experience and be proficient in conceptualizing, designing, and deploying scalable, market-ready products and solutions. A Senior Solutions Engineer is instrumental in driving demand creation by capturing the voice of the customer and translating their needs into actionable technical solutions. Work with customers to understand their challenges, design optimal solutions using Southwire products/ services, and ultimately help guide the sales process with your technical expertise. Collaborate with both the engineering and product teams to improve solutions based on customer feedback. Key Responsibilities
Provide deep technical knowledge about the company's products and services, demonstrating their capabilities and benefits to potential customers. Establish and foster trusted partnerships with key industry stakeholders to uncover strategic insights, emerging innovation trends, and competitive dynamics to shape solution development and drive customer-aligned innovation. Champion customer-centric innovation by leading ideation workshops fostering cross-functional collaboration to uncover and address voice of customer pain points translating insights into actionable engineering requirements. Identify the customer's technical pain points during the entire life cycle and translate them into new engineering requirements for products, tools, or field solutions. Summarize product features, functionalities, code compliance, and long-term performance and submit the ideas into the Stage-Gate process. Work directly with end users to specify products and services that meet Southwire's five sustainability attributes from cradle to grave. Have proficient knowledge of NEC, NESC, UL, and other relevant industry standards and specifications. Interpret electrical/mechanical drawings (CAD, BIM), which include system accessories, to provide the best-in-class solutions. Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree Specialized Degree: Engineering - Electrical, Mechanical 7-10 Years of Experience Field(s) of Expertise:

Certifications/Licenses: CAD, Revit (BIM), Project Management; Proficient in Codes & Standards: NEC, ASTM, UL, CSA, IEEE, ICEA, NEMA Professional Engineer (PE), CAD, Revit (BIM), Project Management Spans of Control
