job purpose:The Demand Planner is a key role in fairlife's supply chain and commercial teams. This role is directly responsible for partnering with our commercial and supply functions to develop and publish a weekly demand forecast to drive our business. This role will work cross functionally with our supply planning, brand, commercial and finance teams to ensure we have one forecast driving our operational execution. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing the tools, systems and KPIs required to accurately forecast demand and continuously improve the process.

responsibilities:

* Manage and improve the weekly processes to publish a SKU-level operational forecast as part of the mid-range planning process.

* Work closely with the supply planning team to understand short-term capacity & inventory constraints and drive a detailed weekly shipment/depletion forecast.

* Coordinate weekly cadences with Brand, Commercial partners to review weekly forecast assumptions, document upcoming promotional activities and evaluate weekly allocations.

* Collaborate with NAOU demand planning team to align on statical forecasts and assumptions in Anaplan/Pigment.

* Develop and own internal forecasting tools, including tracking key demand planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, Bias, value-add etc.).

* Stays informed of actual performance versus forecast and re-forecast to reduce exceptions and/or align with trend.

* Identify and drive root cause analysis for demand forecasts to understand areas of opportunity and develop corrective actions to address in future demand forecasts.

* Provide input to the Supply Planning and commercialization functions in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new product launches and product phase-in/ phase outs.

* Demonstrate value through leadership, detailed and innovative approach along with proactive communications.

* Demonstrate critical thinking and sound judgment in all situations.

skills/qualifications required:

* Bachelor's Degree in related field required.

* 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain preferred.

* Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.

* Strong Microsoft Office (Excel) skills

* Data Visualization experience (PowerBI/Tableau) strongly preferred.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

* Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

$55,000 $80,000 USD
