Desktop Engineer - Lincoln, NE

We're seeking an Onsite Desktop Engineer to support our Lincoln office. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Help Desk professional with strong customer service skills and a passion for solving problems. You get to be a "jack of all trades" and will be given the opportunity to grow into different areas, if desired. You'll be part of a dynamic IT team, a community guided by simplicity, security, continuity, transparency, and flexibility which strives to deliver business value through collaboration, ideation, innovation and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Provide hands-on desktop support, including A/V equipment, printers, mobile devices, and remote access.

  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Maintain and enhance office technologies for reliability, security, and scalability.

  • Drive service improvements and contribute to IT Help Desk excellence.

Qualifications

What You Bring and Is Required

  • Bachelors in Computer Science/IT or 5+ years of technical experience supporting a Microsoft environment.

  • 3+ years' experience in Help Desk support with strong customer service skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft environments, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Windows imaging, PowerShell scripting, MDM platforms, and print server management.

  • Bonus: Experience with MacOS and A/V systems integration.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.

  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
