Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Telecom team in New England! Responsibilities
 
 
 - Project management and client relationship of multiple projects/clients including project scheduling, client communication, business development and repeat business. 
 - Obtain Professional Engineering license in applicable states relevant to project assignments. 
 - Preparation of proposals including project scope, schedule, and man-hour budgets.
 - Responsible for financial management of projects including preparing proposals and pricing, defining scope of work, managing budgets, profitability and scope creep, submitting invoices, facilitating payment, and sub-contractor management.
 - Review, approve, sign and seal structural and/or A&E deliverables to ensure all project work is performed and completed in accordance with QA/QC standards, as well as federal, state and local codes and ordinances. 
 - Attend public hearings, meetings, and any other presentations related to assigned projects.
 - Coordinate and communicate effectively with all employees involved in the project to ensure high utilization rates, including holding internal milestone and post production meetings.
 - Communicate to senior leadership best practices and participate in discipline and/or division initiatives. 
 - Assist with mentoring junior staff in learning sound technical and business practices and enhancing corporate objectives.
 - Adhere to health and safety program and all applicable SOPs.
 - Oversee the activities of assigned staff, including but not limited to timesheet review and approval, performance evaluation and daily supervision.
 
  
 
Qualifications
 
 
 - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
 - 7+ years of engineering experience, including civil/site design, with a focus in telecommunications is preferred.
 - PE license is required.
 - Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
 - Ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
 - Ability to balance competing high priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. 
 - Ability to maintain and build effective business relationships. 
 - Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
 
 
Requires a pre-employment drug screen. MVR will be checked and monitored.
