The UCR School of Medicine's Sponsored Research & Programs (SRP) Department is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Contracts & Grants Analyst 1 to support faculty and researchers in both pre-award and post-award administration of sponsored projects. Under close supervision and as part of a collaborative team, the incumbent will assist with the preparation, review, and submission of research proposals to a variety of sponsors, including federal and state agencies, private foundations, and industry partners. This entry-level role will also support post-award functions by performing financial reconciliation, monitoring expenditures, assisting with reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with sponsor and university guidelines. The position offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in research administration while supporting the School of Medicine's mission to advance health through research, education, and community engagement. This position is a hybrid schedule, with three days on site and two days remote.
The full salary range for the Contracts & Grants Analyst 1 $28.16 - $41.18 is per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $28.16 - $33.06 per hour We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. |
