The Program Manager works with many levels of leadership and staff to manage program efforts based on industry best practices; works as the single point of contact for facilitation and communication of program goals, deliverables, and schedules, and must be an excellent communicator; various levels of documentation will be produced at each stage of the program and the program manager is often the person who creates these with input from others. Program Manager for Office of Faculty Professional Development Manage OFPD programming, communications, and program assessment. Provide extensive communications support, including running email newsletters, building and maintaining Drupal webpages, communicating about events, and collaborating on event promotion with Institute Communications. Plan and execute OFPD programs and events with the Director, including workshops and orientations, as well as manage Qualtrics registration and post-event evaluations and assessments. Compile working bibliographies for topics regularly covered by OFPD with faculty. Produce podcast episodes and possible video content to support faculty development. This position will interact on a regular basis with the OFPD director, program manager for the Vice Provost for Faculty, Institute Communications, and others in the Vice Provost for Faculty's office. This position will typically advise and counsel the OFPD director. Hours can include 5-6 evening events per year. Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Responsibilities
Job duty 1: Manage aspects of program planning for OFPD, including registration, location and catering, communication with attendees, on-site event support, and post-session evaluation and assessment, as well as asynchronous content delivery. Job duty 2: Manage OFPD communications, including newsletters, webpages, and online promotion through Institute Communications. Job duty 3: Manage data collection and program assessment for OFPD, including reports. Job duty 4: Conduct secondary research on assigned topics, especially around faculty areas of interest and workplace well-being. Job duty 5: Produce media for workshops and asynchronous programs, including podcasts and video content. Job duty 6: Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
