One of the Oldest Insurance providers based out of Oregon is looking for an Operations Specialist to join their team in a remote capacity! This position is fully remote and has the opportunity to turn into a long term position with this team. Ideally this position will be on an 8am - 5pm EST schedule Description This is for the pre-sale team. They create proposals and RFP's for the sales reps. Working internally with sales reps to help with their proposals and RFPs. The sales team is running the proposal and then this position is filling out a questionnaire for the proposal. They have a play book and knowledge library built into salesforce that has all the info for the questionnaire. Job Duties: * Lead the RFP process in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. * Use strong leadership, organizational, issue resolution, interpersonal, and time management skills to foster collaboration between different business units in the course of: * Responding to questions relating to our business and offered insurance products and services. * Interacting with sales staff, marketing, legal, underwriting and other Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the creation of accurate, customer-facing material. * Develop final presentation materials and proposal deliverables that are compliant, competitive, and compelling based on solicitation-specified requirements. Skills & Qualifications * High attention to detail and critical thinking skills * Insurance or proposal experience would be ideal * Excel - answering questions in Excel - just typing/copying/pasting * 2 years of related experience (preparing proposals, RFP's and RFI's) preferred * Proficiency with SharePoint, Salesforce, MS Excel and Adobe highly preferred * Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
