Michelin is hiring! - - - - - - - - - - - - The Information Technology Infrastructure and Continuous Improvement Project Manager (Accelerated Development Program) is responsible for a variety of projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Network, End User Experience, and Datacenter and Application Platform Service Lines within Michelin. The candidate will be responsible for delivering the projects on time and within budget in addition to leading the project teams and ensuring communication is flowing appropriately to all partners and collaborators. Our headquarters is in Greenville, SC, conveniently located within driving distance to east coast beaches, the Blue Ridge Mountains and large cities like Atlanta and Charlotte. Project Management:This role will manage the execution of the project by identifying project deliverables, coordinating work across multiple teams and IT suppliers, developing budget and cost plans, identifying risks and issues and will successfully monitor project progress using appropriate methods and metrics to ensure schedules, budgets, and goals are met. This role requires knowledge and practice of project management policies, methods, and procedures as defined in the PMBOK and the ability to understand infrastructure technology to successfully engage with Architects and Subject Matter Experts. Successful candidates should be able to work autonomously and demonstrate solid skills in leadership, communication, organization, conflict management, and independent judgment to select proper courses of action. Furthermore, this position will be a part of an accelerated development program designed to rapidly provide this Leader with diverse challenges and experiences. After initial assignment as the Sr IT Infrastructure and Continuous Improvement Project Manager, we would anticipate you to progress within the Michelin Information Technology organizations on the path to Senior level positions within the company. Continuous Improvement:This role is responsible for defining and driving continuous improvement initiatives across all infrastructure teams. It will foster a culture and mindset of ongoing enhancement, and will plan, test, and implement strategies aimed at reducing waste, boosting productivity, and increasing employee satisfaction.
