Dr. Zhao Zhang's laboratory (ZZ-Lab) in the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology at Duke University School of Medicine is seeking an experienced and motivated Lab Manager. Our laboratory seeks to understand the biology of transposons and extrachromosomal circular DNA in cancer. Please visithttp://thezzlab.comfor details. The ideal candidate will coordinate and perform a variety of administrative and technical activities related to budgeting, stocking, experimentation, training, and management of lab resources. Experience with cell culture and animal husbandry is a plus, but is not required. We will consider candidates who are seeking a temporary position (minimum 2 years strongly preferred) but with preference for those interested in the position for long term. Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications Education Work requires a bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field. Experience Work requires two years of research experience. A related master's OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE degree may offset required years of experience on a 1:1 basis, e.g., a two year master's degree in lieu of two years of experience.
