Your role

Are you a technically minded sales professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? At Edwards - General Vacuum Europe, part of the Atlas Copco Group, we're seeking a driven and customer-focused Service Sales Engineer to support and grow our service business across the Benelux region

In this pivotal role, you'll combine your technical expertise with a deep understanding of customer needs to develop and execute service sales strategies that drive growth and strengthen long-term relationships.

You will:

  • Drive service sales growth by planning and prioritizing customer interactions to meet and exceed business targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and service product teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure seamless after-sales support.
  • Deliver market insights by analyzing trends, pricing strategies, competitor activity, and regional dynamics to inform business decisions.
  • Create compelling service proposals, using company pricing tools and discount strategies to prepare accurate quotations.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, tracking customer visits, opportunities, and quotation statuses to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Enhance customer relationships by coordinating with internal teams to deliver value-added services and maximize business outcomes.
To succeed, you will need
Key Skills
  • Value-Based Selling Expertise - ideally with experience in vacuum technologies or related technical industries.
  • Technical or Engineering Background - enabling you to understand and communicate complex solutions effectively.
  • Strong Commercial Acumen - with proven ability in sales, persuasive presentations, and skilled negotiation.
  • Territory Management - confident in planning and executing sales strategies across a defined region.
  • Language Proficiency - fluent in Dutch and Flemish; additional languages are a plus.
  • Digital Fluency - comfortable using CRM systems, quoting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
