The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Reporting and Analytics Consultant position in the Population Health and Quality Improvement Analytics section. A successful applicant will engage in quality improvement and applied health services research in a project-based, team setting. The successful candidate will provide expertise and support for quality improvement projects. Reporting and Analytics Consultants are expected to perform technical tasks and contribute toprojectleadershipand administration. They are expected to complete work independently on highly complex tasks. Reporting and Analytics Consultants may work on multiple projects at a time and have significant project responsibilities. Typical responsibilities are project-specific and may include combinations of the following: (1) leading highly complex research tasks or projects as a co-PI or PI, as needed; (2) independently determining the method(s) for completion of new projects (may receive guidance on overall project objectives); (3) developing new practices, processes, metrics or models, and providing solutions which may set precedent for the organization; (4) applying developed subject matter and methodological knowledge and advanced understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects; (5) providing guidance to research project and project sponsor colleagues; (6) conveying difficult, complex or sensitive information, and facilitating productive dialogue among project stakeholders. Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required. Required Qualifications: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study is required. Demonstrated usage of R, SAS, or Stata for data analysis is required. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. Additional Desired Qualifications: Experience working with state agencies and demonstrated experience, expertise, and leadership in quality improvement, survey, or mixed methods research is preferred. Training in quality improvement science is preferred.
