Overview

The Employee Services Specialist performs administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations withing the organization. Under the direction of the HR Director, this position facilitates consistent execution of HR initiatives in the areas of onboarding, training, compliance, and is accountable for assigned service level agreement task execution. The Employee Service Specialist is accountable to the highest level of customer service and accuracy of the information and services provided.

Pay Range: $22.50 - $36.00

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate execution of processes related to the employee life cycle
    • Provide information, support toward, and/or facilitate employee lifecycle processes
    • Monitor communication channels and respond to employee inquiries, escalating complex inquires as needed
    • Serve as an objective employee advocate, balancing the employee and the business needs
    • Provide resolution within defined service level thresholds
    • Create and maintain accurate files and records, ensuring confidentiality and discretion
  • Develop and foster long-term relationships with HR centers of excellence
    • Proactively monitor changes within the organization to provide accurate and consistent support
    • Attend regular and ad-hoc meetings
  • Produce and analyze re-occurring and ad-hoc reports
    • Identify trends and outliers
    • Create and maintain dashboards
  • Draft and propose employee lifecycle process documentation
    • Retain, track, and version approved documentation
    • Update resource links within assigned storage locations (e.g. SharePoint, HRIS, network drive, etc.)
  • Monitor assigned compliance initiatives
    • Promote accountability and transparency
    • Audit processes and provide proactive feedback
    • Track and trend results providing consistent and objective feedback to stakeholders
  • Build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders
    • Provide accurate, timely, and objective responses
    • Leverage relationships to evaluate process efficiency, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Provide administrative support for employee engagement initiatives and programs
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education / Experience:

  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • Post-secondary degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) in Business, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience working within an enterprise level HRIS (required) (UKG preferred)
  • Minimum of three (3) years progressive professional experience (required) (direct HR experience preferred)
  • Specific experience in education, or other highly regulated field, and multi-site, multi-state environments (preferred)

  • Intermediate level proficiency with productivity software (MS Office), HRIS (UKG), and other enterprise-level software (Adobe DC, SharePoint, etc.)

Work Environment & Additional Details:

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
  • This position is designated as Remote. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.
  • No travel required.
