Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office based in Morristown, New Jersey.

The Titling Specialist II - provides operational support for the Commercial Middle Office - Capital Equipment Finance in the execution of daily loan operations and closing activities. Facilitates loan titling processes and associate workflow while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies. Maintains records or systems crucial for business operations. Answers client, vendor or team inquiries and resolves issues, updating department records or systems accordingly, in alignment with service standards and business goals. Assists in the identification of process inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Service - Fosters collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, vendors, and associates. Responds to inbound communications to service accounts, fulfill requests, and address issues. Determines the proper course of action for more complex issues or disputes.
  • Operations and Administration - Performs general office duties as assigned to ensure overall operational efficiency. Handles a variety of operational tasks that arise during customer, vendor, and associate inquiries. Streamlines workflow for other associates within the business unit through effective operational support. Identifies and communicates process inefficiencies and may offer recommendations for process improvements. Runs weekly audit reports to validate data accuracy and performs monthly data reconciliations to ensure completeness and integrity.
  • Documentation - Manages standard documentation associated with daily activities, including processing, reviewing, and distributing materials. Maintains and updates department records, both in physical form and within system applications, ensuring accuracy, organization, and accessibility.
  • Business Proficiency - Provides subject matter knowledge within the area of work and maintains an up to date understanding of laws, regulations, and policies that impact assigned responsibilities. Applies this knowledge to produce work that is accurate, efficient, and compliant. Utilizes familiarity with products, systems, and processes to resolve problems and address customer requests effectively. Offers guidance and direction to less experienced specialists by sharing expertise and supporting their development.
  • Administrative/Remarketing duties - Assists with PEGA requests and supports inventory related activities as needed. Contributes to project work and serves as a liaison for internal communication. Secures payment arrangements or applies the appropriate treatment within the cash application process for remarketing proceeds in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in Financial Services or Operations Support.

Preferred:

  • 2 years of Titling Commercial Collateral - Industrial Equipment
  • 2 years of Banking or Financial Services or Dealership
  • Communicating directly with clients, vendors, or associates
  • 2 years of Excel and other Microsoft applications

Other:

  • Leasing and Loan experience
  • Reporting and analysis experience, including running and writing new reports, maintaining databases
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Ability to work in multiple applications at a time

The pay for this position is generally between $24.03 and 36.05 paid hourly. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
