Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support the Prometheus 31B protocol at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The Project for Military Exposures and Toxin History Evaluation in U.S. Service Members (PROMETHEUS) is a multi-federal, public-private partnership collaboration to study the impact of environmental exposures on the health of Service Members. PROMETHEUS aims to 1) integrate scientific platforms across agencies; 2) create a process and research ecosystem to integrate or link individual-level datasets of exposures and phenotypic information; and 3) conduct research that leverages exposure, phenotypic, and bio-specimen data, which are specific to the DoD. In the current research study, the research study team will utilize new data and bio-specimens as well as cutting-edge platforms and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to examine the relationship between deployment-related environmental exposures and cancer. This specimen and data biorepository, along with any results generated from this effort, would be available for future research. This position will be in support of the John P. Murtha Cancer Center. The John P. Murtha Cancer Center Research Program is a modern, patient-centric, tri-service military healthcare facility. Its comprehensive core of military and civilian oncologists and other cancer-trained clinicians and researchers provide multidisciplinary cancer-care delivery and patient-family support services. Our Cancer Center, the only DoD Cancer Center of Excellence within the Military Health System, offers its patients access to cutting-edge cancer diagnostic and treatment technologies. The incumbent will coordinate all research activities related to the performance and compliance of all research projects in multidisciplinary areas under the directions of designated Principal Investigators and the leadership of Murtha Cancer Center at Walter Reed Bethesda. The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine.
