Job Description:
IS4S is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a technical program focused on aircraft carriage equipment, including the associated harnesses and electronic stores interface unit (SIU). The ideal candidate will bring project management experience and technical expertise in both electronic and mechanical systems. Experience with aircraft systems development and test is desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily activities of the program while interfacing with the Orlando development team and the larger program management group (located in Ft. Walton Beach/Niceville,FL).
- Track project progress, budget, and timelines, proactively managing risks. Interface with the EVMS management team for monthly tracking and planning updates.
- Develop detailed program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate and communicate with manufacturing and engineering teams to achieve milestones and ensure smooth execution of programs.
- Subcontract management and interface with IS4S contracts team as necessary to ensure program schedules and requirements are met by the subcontractors.
- This PM position will also lead the SIU and harness-portion of the production proposal effort and interface with the contracts and PM team to coordinate activities and proposal tasks.
- Prepare and present status reports, including program performance metrics, milestones, and risks to senior leadership.
- Identify and resolve program risks, issues, and roadblocks to propose corrective actions.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement and open communication.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of project management experience, DoD/military experience preferred
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PgMP, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Proven experience in managing large, complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or similar).
- Minimum Security Clearance: SECRET.
Desired Experience:
- Strong analytical skills and risk management capabilities.
- MBSE experience with SysML (Cameo specifically) systems engineering software
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering)
