Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Develop and manage a target list of prospective customers in collaboration with the business development team.
- Create and execute sales strategies tailored to customer needs, with regular in-person visits, calls, and follow-up.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide expert consultation on IPS's service capabilities and technical solutions.
- Coordinate with technical specialists to develop detailed proposals for complex modifications or projects.
- Deliver and present proposals, negotiating terms where needed.
- Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships built on trust, responsiveness, and demonstrated value.
- Monitor market activity, including competitive offerings and bid situations.
- Partner with IPS management to address customer issues involving pricing, specifications, warranties, or service adaptations.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Required: Demonstrated Power Management sales experience, with strong technical and application knowledge.
- Preferred: Electric motor sales or service experience (low-voltage NEMA frame motors, rotating AC/DC machines).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in an industrial environment.
- Proven ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High degree of organization, time management, and self-discipline.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability and willingness to travel 40%+.
