USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Security Analyst to join our team. This position will be located in our Middletown, CT location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and threat intelligence to identify risks.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.

  • Manage and optimize security tools (SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, etc.).

  • Investigate incidents, document findings, and provide post-incident analysis.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to enforce secure configurations and best practices.

  • Support compliance initiatives (e.g., PCI, SOX) and internal audits.

  • Contribute to security awareness and employee training programs.

  • Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of IT Security or Security Analyst experience.

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools and vulnerability management.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), operating systems, and scripting.

  • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).

  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP) strongly preferred.
