Position Summary

The Analyst will support strategic and operational decision-making by delivering actionable insights through data interpretation, business modeling, and performance tracking. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving business problems, collaborating across teams, and translating data into meaningful recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business strategy, operations, and performance improvement.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define business processes.

  • Perform ad hoc data analyses to support initiatives in areas such as Customer Service, Operations, and Finance.

  • Work cross-functionally within the team, bridging the Data Governance and Data Engineering/Architecture efforts to support integrated data solutions.

  • Present findings, recommendations, and data-driven insights to internal stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with multi-functional stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in an analytical or business support role.

  • Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Proficiency in Excel.

  • Proficiency in SQL.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the energy and/or utilities sectors

  • SAP knowledge, in particular the IS-U and ERP modules

  • Familiarity with Python

  • Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., enterprise data catalog and data quality tools)

Physical Responsibilities

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer.

  • Capable of walking through office environments and occasionally visiting field or operational sites.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues in person, via video conferencing, and through written formats.

  • Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings or support project work.

  • Valid driver's license may be required depending on team assignment.
