TDI Technologies, Inc. (TDI) is seeking a Project Control Analyst. The Project Control Analyst plays a key role in supporting the financial and operational execution of multiple Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. This entry/mid-level position serves as a critical bridge between Program Managers and Finance, ensuring accurate project controls, resource allocation, and financial forecasting within Unanet. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with direct exposure to project management responsibilities. With demonstrated performance, this position provides a defined career growth path to Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource Management:
    • Work across the organization to de-conflict resources, ensure proper employee allocation, and maintain accurate updates within Unanet.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Partner with Program Managers to review project actuals, assess variances, and develop future cost and schedule projections.
    • Track and account for fee retainage and management reserves across projects.
  • System Monitoring:
    • Set up and manage system alerts in Unanet; collaborate with Program Managers to resolve issues and define next steps.
  • Analytics & Dashboards:
    • Build and maintain project financial health dashboards using Unanet Analytical Studio to provide leadership with real-time insights.
  • Stakeholder Support:
    • Serve as a liaison between Program Managers, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate reporting and effective decision-making.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Recommend and implement best practices for financial tracking, reporting, and forecasting across all active contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • Experience in project control, financial analysis, or related role supporting DoD contracts.
    • Experience with Unanet or similar ERP/project management systems.
    • Understanding of cost accounting, forecasting, and project controls in a government contracting environment.
    • U.S. citizenship with eligibility for DoD Secret clearance (Active clearance preferred).
  • Desired:
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related advanced degree.
    • Direct experience supporting Navy or DoD R&D/engineering contracts.
    • Familiarity with DCAA compliance, provisional billing rates, and government contract financial reporting.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.

Growth Path:

This role is designed as a developmental position with a direct path to Project Manager. The Project Control Analyst will gain increasing responsibility for program execution, customer engagement, and project leadership as they demonstrate:

  • Mastery of project financial management and forecasting.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination with Program Managers, Finance, and Operations.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills in supporting internal teams and external clients.

Successful performance in this position is expected to lead to promotion into a Project Manager role, responsible for end-to-end contract execution, customer interaction, and team leadership.

Special Requirements:

* Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance. Due to the nature of our work with the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. citizenship is required. Some positions may require the renunciation of any non-U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

* Must have a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance.
