The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Program Documentation Coordinator for our partner organization Nashua Center in Nashua, NH. The Program Documentation Coordinator ensures that Nashua Center's adult clients have accurate, up-to-date care guides to support DSPs in providing consistent, high-quality services. These guides document what a typical day looks like for each client, including routines, eating plans, safety considerations, and other important details.

This role is essential in making sure that if a DSP is absent, substitute or covering staff can step in confidently with the right information. The Coordinator works closely with DSPs and the Program Manager to gather, update, and maintain these documents so they remain accurate, accessible, and useful for staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a sublist document (care guide) for each client supported by a DSP.
  • Document each client's daily routines, eating plans, safety and care needs, and personal preferences.
  • Ensure care guides remain up to date by checking with DSPs and Program staff regularly.
  • Keep documents organized, easy to read, and accessible to staff who need them.
  • Update guides to reflect changes in client care plans, goals, or routines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
  • Hybrid work: meet with staff on-site to gather information, complete documentation updates remotely.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good listening and communication skills for gathering information from staff.
  • Basic writing and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
  • Organized and reliable; able to manage multiple documents.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and respect for individuals with disabilities.

Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid: mix of on-site (to meet with staff and confirm information) and remote (to update and maintain documents).
  • Occasional adjustments may be needed to keep documents current.

We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated. So if you're wondering whether SNHU is right for you, take the leap and apply. You might be just the person we're looking for.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
