EM&C Integration Engineer
Location: El Segundo, CA (On-site)
Clearance: Secret (TS/SCI preferred)
Compensation: $119,000 - $149,000

Astrion is seeking an EM&C MSEIT Integration Engineer to support the U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command through the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) contract. This role focuses on integrating next-generation SATCOM capabilities that deliver secure, resilient communications to warfighters worldwide.

As an Integration Engineer, you will lead cross-vendor coordination, Agile execution, and technical alignment for complex SATCOM software systems, ensuring mission success across a multi-vendor, defense-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead capability discovery and product scoping, translating mission needs into technical requirements.
  • Manage cross-vendor Agile development, ensuring delivery of prioritized, mission-critical features.
  • Drive integration across systems engineering, cybersecurity, and software architecture teams.
  • Oversee Agile execution, including backlog refinement, sprint tracking, and product increments.
  • Serve as a program-level point of contact for DoD stakeholders, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation, integrating data analytics and visualization into SATCOM management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IS, or related (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years in Technical Program Management, Product Management, or Systems Engineering within DoD programs.
  • Proven track record managing multi-vendor software development programs.
  • Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and DoD Software Acquisition Pathway.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in complex software integration efforts.

Desired:

  • Familiarity with MILSATCOM, COMSATCOM, EMI, and RF spectrum management.
  • Hands-on experience with EMI detection/geolocation tools and SATCOM monitoring platforms.
  • Knowledge of software testing, KPIs, analytics, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity integration.
  • TS/SCI clearance.

Basic Compensation: $119,000-$149,000 in California

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
