Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer

Acara Solution is looking for a Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer for our client located in Canonsburg, PA.

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer to join our Progeny/M&SS Line of Business.
• Additionally, this role involves designing and developing complex analog circuits and implementing VHDL code for hardware description.
• Design and analyze AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control.
• Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware.
• Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits.
• Develop and implement VHDL code for hardware description and design.
• Design and troubleshoot high-speed digital circuits and systems.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in power system design:
  1. DC/DC:
  2. Buck
  3. Boost
  4. LDO
  5. AC/DC
• Minimum 8 years of experience in multilayer PCB design.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in high-speed digital design.

• Master's Degree.
• The successful candidate will possess a good background in power system design, electrical hardware integration, troubleshooting, and high-speed digital design.
• Experience in the automotive, medical, or defense industries.
• Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
• Design of safety-critical circuits.
• Background in automotive, medical, or defense industries.
• Proficiency in VHDL for hardware description and design.
