As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Amery Hospital & Clinic's Behavioral Health department, you will provide direct patient care that includes maintaining medical records, monitoring patient interactions and managing traffic flow with patient transports. In addition, you will provide clerical support, assist in patient data collection and perform medical procedures under direction of a registered nurse (RN) utilizing knowledge of verbal and non-verbal communication skills to provide targeted therapeutic interventions with patients.

Our CNAs within our Behavioral Health department are also considered Mental Health Technicians (MHT).

Work Schedule:

  • 0.6 FTE/24 weekly, 8-hour evening shifts (2:45-11:15p) with every other weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completed a certified nursing assistant (CNA) training program
  • Current Wisconsin (WI) CNA license
  • BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer 2 years relevant experience but will train.
  • Demonstrates strong keyboarding skill and computer knowledge.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR System.
