Job Overview:

Responsible for administering warranty claims and identifying operational issues from Gardner Denver customers and distributors in accordance with established guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage warranty claims and issues submitted by Gardner Denver distributors and customers to provide timely and fair resolutions.

  • Assess distributors' warranty claims and initiate investigative action as necessary to resolve problems and / or liability claims.

  • Complete warranty documents to ensure accurate recording of warranty data to facilitate further analysis of trends.

  • Facilitate movement of materials to support GD Field Service Technicians in repair of Gardner Denver equipment.

  • Coordinates with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Purchasing to identify and resolve product malfunctions.

  • Resolves disputes with customers and distributors concerning disposition of warranty claims to promote sound and reasonable customer relations




Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree is desirable, preferably in a technical field

  • 3+ years of technical customer service experience in aftermarket support



Preferred:


  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem solving, and customer relation skills

  • Able to interact and coordinate with internal company resources and vendor resources to resolve issues for customers and distributors

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized

  • Ability to read & understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams preferred

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements


  • This position will be based in Quincy, IL, Bentleyville, PA, or Connersville, IN with minimal anticipated travel.



Pay Range


  • The pay range for this role is $50,000-$70,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
