Summary

The MIL Corporation is currently seeking an AV Integration Team Lead (Integration, Team Lead) to support our growing A/V efforts supporting US Government and DoD customers worldwide from our Lexington Park, MD location. The AV Integration Team Lead oversees the end-to-end delivery of audiovisual (AV) integration projects, ensuring systems are installed, configured, and commissioned according to design specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. This role bridges engineering, project management, and field installation, providing leadership to AV technicians and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule with 5 days on-site and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of AV integration projects, from pre-engineering support to post-installation service transition.

  • Supervise and schedule field installation teams, ensuring quality control and on-time delivery.

  • Interpret AV system designs and construction documents; ensure accurate implementation of signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and cable schedules.

  • Collaborate design teams during the planning phase to ensure project feasibility and scope alignment.

  • Interface with clients, contractors, and trades to coordinate site access, timelines, and technical requirements.

  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and final commissioning.

  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AVIXA, CTS).

  • Track project budgets, materials, labor hours, and change orders.

  • Support and train junior technicians and field engineers as needed.

Travel

Up to 50% to both CONUS and OCONUS locations

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in AV/electrical integration, with 2+ years in a leadership or project management capacity

  • Proficiency with AV systems including Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure, and DSP programming

  • Strong understanding of video conferencing platforms and AV-over-IP solutions

  • Ability to read and interpret AV drawings and schematics (AutoCAD, or Visio experience a plus)

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Ability to travel to client sites and work flexible hours when needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Management in AV technology or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted

  • CTS certification strongly preferred

Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college. A high school diploma plus six (6) years of additional work experience related to the position -OR- an Associate's Degree from an accredited college plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the position may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Clearance

For this position, the projected compensation range is $70,000 - $105,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
